As a matter of fact, there are famous celebrities who survived breast cancer and managed to live a normal life. Both male and female celebrities suffered from it and most of them survived. So, just who are these celebrities who had breast cancer?

Here are some of the celebrities who survived breast cancer:

• Edie Falco – If you watch Sopranos, then you know who this celebrity is. He was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2003 and battled it secretly.

• Olivia Newton John – This singer actress was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992. She went under mastectomy and also through breast reconstruction.

• Anastacia – This singer was diagnosed to have breast cancer in 2003. Today, she now raises breast cancer awareness ever since she survived the ordeal.

These are just some of the celebrities who suffered from breast cancer and survived. There are a lot more of them. Some are battling it out in the open and publicly, while there are others who prefer to be discreet about it.
