What are the different types of breast cancer?

Breast cancer has different types. In most cases, the different types of breast cancer are named after the various features of the disease. Usually, the type of breast cancer is named after where the disease began. For example, with the invasive ductal carcinoma, this type of cancer began on the milk duct. Other types of cancer are named after what they look like under the microscope, such as the tubular carcinoma which has the distinct tube-like shaped cells.
